Riviera Maya Vacation

As a travel agent, and selling Riviera Maya as my top destination, I decided to take a vacation there to experience the wonder of it all. It surpassed all my expectations. It was amazingly beautiful. Riviera Maya had the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Crystal clear blue waters with soft white sand. I stayed at a resort called the Iberostar Tucan, it was lovely. The hotel is set in a tropical jungle atmosphere. I had monkeys on my balconies and saw the most beautiful, exotic birds. This hotel and 90 percent of all the other hotels are all-inclusive in the Riviera Maya. Every thing was included. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, alcohol, non-motorized water sports plus so much more. It was so nice not to have to reach into your pocket for anything, other than for souvenirs. I went visiting to the other hotels and each one was more beautiful than the other. Shopping on 5th Avenue is a must. The shopping and atmosphere was so much fun. Live bands were playing at local cafes and the food was fabulous.

We took and excursion to Xel-ha and went snorkeling and saw the most beautiful tropical colored fish I have ever seen. We also went horseback riding on the beach and took a four wheeling tour on the beach and through the jungle. Talk about adventurous.

My overall experience in the Riviera Maya was amazing. There was time to relax and just enjoy the beach and then time to explore. I would recommend this destination to families, couples, singles, honeymooners, and just about anybody. I would go back there in a heartbeat. It was the best vacation I ever had.
